Our metalworking fluids enable sophisticated machining processes for the world’s largest automotive and aerospace manufacturing companies. The Account Manager will play an essential role at Quaker Houghton for managing and developing sales in the Mid Anatolia region for the Metalworking business.
As the main sales contact for the territory, you'll be responsible for nurturing key relationships within our existing customer base and equally important is your responsibility for identifying and exploring new business opportunities.

What will you do?
Prospect, develop and nurture sales in the assigned region to achieve company sales and gross margin targets for the metalworking market.
Create strong relationships with key customer contacts across all levels, both existing and prospective, in both direct clients and distributor accounts.
Prepare and create customer presentations, proposals, commercial offers and value selling plans that demonstrate the benefits and value Quaker Houghton can offer.
Deliver sound technical advice to the customer, working closely with our Product Application team to implement and offer new solutions.
Collaborate with the QH Fluid Intelligence Solutions team regarding our range of equipment sales.
Coordinate as well with the Customer Service and Technical Service teams to make sure we meet overall customer expectations.
Regularly report to management to analyze sales targets, budgets and forecast. Mainly using CRM, excel and other IT Tools available.
Attend and participate in conferences and industry trade shows.
Monitor the competitors' activities, industry trends & regional regulations to give feedback to management that is useful for innovation and market development.
Respect and maintain all safety and environmental policies.
Travel approximately 75% within the assigned region.
What do we look for?
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years' proven track record in technical sales in the metalworking industry. Preferably experience in a lubricants, machining, tooling, coatings or water treatment background. Having managed both end user and distributor accounts is an advantage.
Education in engineering (mechanical, chemical, industrial or similar)
A dynamic professional with enough market knowledge, excellent communication and presentation skills to generate trust and be able to create and maintain strong relationships with the key stakeholders both internal and external.
Languages: Turkish bilingual/native level and English: professional level written & spoken are a must.
High computer application literacy (including Microsoft Office Suite, CRM and the ability to learn internal business systems)
Based in the sales territory of Mid Anatolia to reduce travel time.
