The Customer Service Representative team plays an essential and value-adding role by acting as the heart of our operations. Join a team where supporting each other is part of the culture, in a company where customer success is our own. 

 

What will you do?  

  • Communicate daily with customers, internal departments, and affiliates so customer expectations are met. 

  • Prepare and manage requests for quotations. 

  • Handle all orders efficiently and expeditiously. 

  • Coordinate with Supply Chain, Production and Sales so that all internal departments are aligned and well informed.  

  • Ensure our service is compliant with commercial agreements. 

  • Keep the information in our software up to date; we work with JD Edwards. 

  • Follow all process standards & regulations such as: SOX and BSI. 

  • Support and work together with the other EMEA Customer Service Teams to reach company goals.

 

What are we looking for?  

  • Experience: At least 1 years in a similar role in a team environment. Any additional training needed is offered upon onboarding. 
  • IT knowledge: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Languages: German and English professional level spoken and written are a must
  • Based in the Dortmund area.

Soft skills:

  • Customer oriented with good prioritization skills.
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written, with the ability to work at all levels within the business.
  • Good organizational skills with the ability to work to tight timescales.
  • Results focused with the ability to take ownership of tasks.
