What will you do?
As a field technician for Quaker Houghton, you will:
Collection, analysis, testing and recording of samples, as directed.
Assist in the maintenance of coolant filters, washers, paint systems, air handling systems, etc. as required to keep fluids within proper limits.
Addition of chemicals; including coolants, greases, oils, lubricants, cleaners and biocides as directed by supervisor, customers or SOP.
Enter data for daily results into site software program.
Properly maintaining tools and equipment such as pumps, sump suckers, coolant dispensers, etc., in a safe and efficient manner.
Assist in routine maintenance on all above equipment and fluid systems including product additions, filter changes, sump cleaning, etc., as directed.
Assist in disposal of contaminated articles (i.e. pails, gloves, samples, etc.) in accordance with prescribed measures, including waste management and recycling initiatives.
Maintaining and calibrating all laboratory equipment; such as scales, pH meters, glassware, incubators, etc. in accordance with site control plan.
Has responsibility for general cleaning of oil storage rooms, laboratory, equipment and areas of the production floor.
Effectively communicates with customers at the plant level to report results and identify any immediate technical or production needs.
Responsible for monitoring, recording and maintaining inventory levels in accordance with customer needs, including placing orders and calculating consignment/consumption.
Understands customer processes and most effective application of QH products to optimize performance.
Implements process improvements related to QH products in agreement with supervisor and/or customers.
Comply with all Company Policies: to include but not limited to Code of Conduct and expense reporting, etc.

What do we look for?
High school diploma or GED required. May be required to obtain certifications/licenses.
Minimum of 1 - 2 years related industry experience required.
Customer focus, results driven, communication skills, proficient in English, MS Office basic skills
