This role is site based. The Fluidcare Lead Technician will be responsible for managing Fluidcare site-based operations, ensuring that a quality service is delivered in line with contracted duties, whilst developing and maintaining excellent working relationships with our customers.
Ensure that you are accountable for all EHS site-based safety including productivity whilst implementing & maintaining Quaker Houghton safe systems of work. Managing and maintaining site commercial performance by identifying process improvements while closely managing site budgets.
The focus will be on key areas such as Safety Awareness ensuring Safe Working Practices, Accountability, Responsibility, Implementing EHS Mandates & the promotion of a Positive Safety Culture. Ensuring that mandatory EHS tasks are completed by reporting KMI issues and by recording any near misses. Work with the operations and EHS team to ensure that the JTRA's and SOPs are site-specific and followed.
Responsible for the overall operational performance of the Fluidcare site and ensures the site-specific KPIs are in place and maintained to show Fluidcare performance and added value.
Update and review site procedures, utilizing established/controlled documentation including Job Task Risk Assessments and job method statements
With support from EHS, ensure that all accounts have Quaker Houghton safe systems of work in place.
Establish excellent working relationships with all Fluidcare site customer key contacts, and attend critical review meetings including scheduling regular weekly meetings with customer maintenance. Assist Account Manager with all CVR improvement initiatives and cost-saving projects to illustrate the value provided via Quaker Houghton Fluidcare services & product technology.
Working closely with the account manager and Fluidcare Regional Manager to attend all customer review meetings. All meetings should be attended with a customer-focused agenda.
Maintain all Quaker Houghton systems which include SharePoint, FluidTrend 4.0, and Velocity KMI.
Manage and maintain all Fluidcare site-specific documentation, ensuring that critical documents are updated within the specific time frames by the contracted Scope of Work.
Maintain all budgetary documents/trackers, maintaining within agreed commercials.
Maintain close working relationships and provide timely communication of issues/resolutions reporting to the Operations Regional Manager, EHS specialist and Account Manager
Management of all Fluidcare stock onsite, maintaining min-max agreed levels with the customer, placing orders, and tracking stock deliveries. Communicating any issues with customer and Account Manager.
Assist with any internal and external Fluidcare site audits.
Experience within a manufacturing facility or engineering would be advantageous
Problem-Solving skills- Able to maintain a controlled, confident, calm & effective manner at all times. Make sound decisions based on analysis, evaluation and experience when resolving any issues.
FLT would be an advantage
Full UK Driving License.
Flexible to the job requirement

Computer literate. i.e., MS Office packages.
