What will you do?
The General Operative will report to the Production Manager and where the objective is the production of customer components to recognised Surface Technology standards.
- To ensure efficient, quality, production of customer components
- An understanding of customer requirements, with regards to marked up drawings
- To ensure timely manufacture, despatch and delivery of products to customers, while ensuring internal Process Control sheets are followed, understood and completed
- Provide excellent customer service to all internal and external customers
- Any other reasonable duties
- To be involved in the production of customer components
- To ensure safe handling procedures are observed, when processing parts.
- To ensure all Process Control Sheets are completed and signed
- To ensure all customer directions are followed, from Drawings or DBI’s.
- To ensure that the quality system is adhered to in order to maintain ISO9001.
- Ensure good, orderly housekeeping, in your process area.
- To enable the process of products to meet production scheduling.
- To maintain and comply with the company Health and Safety Policy, including the control of hazardous substances.
- To ensure all Environmental aspects, of your process, adhere to the company ISO 14001 Environmental accreditation.
- To operate a fork lift truck
- To maintain confidentiality at all times within the area of your responsibility.
- Any other duties that you may be called upon to perform by the Management.
