Business/Systems Analysis and Application Development

For projects, process changes, new development and maintenance, works with Process Leaders and other key users to analyze requirements and assists in clarifying or writing functional specifications
Develops technical specifications with resource estimates that will fulfill and implement functional specifications
Modifies and/or configures changes in JDE to meet the functional and technical requirements
Performs unit testing on all development and configuration changes to ensure the highest quality work is delivered
Ensures that all work is done within the scheduled/allotted time and communicates any potential deviations from the plan in a timely manner
Provides the proper support to end users in a timely and professional manner
Working with I.S. Management and with the Process Leaders,  evaluates the need for support and training of Associates to maintain the competence of all Associates in their assigned process roles
Maintains accurate documentation of all system configuration codes and settings and ensures these are managed in the approved manner
Working with the Global Documentation Team and I.S., will ensure that documentation of all processes and systems is maintained in accordance with agreed procedures and standards


Project Management

Manages projects from time to time and/or plays other key project roles as part of a team
Typical projects would include implementation of JDE into additional sites or implementation into a newly acquired company
Functions as a business analyst in addition to the project management role
Manages time and priorities of the work
Communicates regularly with project stakeholders and Regional Business Application Manager on the status of the project
Actively manages risks, issues and schedule


This position requires an associate with experience in many if not all supported processes.   Extensive experience with and knowledge of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne is critical to this role.  That experience should include new implementations, systems analysis, configuration, development, interfaces, testing, performance tuning and user support.  Strong business knowledge, technical knowledge, and SOX compliance experience are a must.  Strong project management experience are preferred. 


Solid organization and negotiating skills are required as the position will work across many processes and regions to evaluate many requests for change.  Strong problem solving skills and experience in managing complex solutions is important.  Communications is a large part of the job and the position will develop documentation, reports, analysis and other forms of written communications as well as conduct presentations for various meetings.  The associate must be experienced and have a proven record of professionalism coupled with flexibility.



B.E/B.Tect/BCA degree in  Information Systems, Computer Science or related field

5+ years of experience in Information Services
Strong business analysis background, with 3+ years working with multiple functional areas as described above
Strong technical background in EnterpriseOne, with 3+ years of experience in all areas described above
3+ years of experience with the JDE EnterpriseOne
3+ years working in the process manufacturing sector (chemical preferred)
Team oriented with collaborative working style
