Quaker Houghton is a global leader in industrial process fluids. We are present in people’s lives by providing solutions to the main industries in today’s economy such as automotive, aerospace & steel. This role is based at the GKN Aerospace facility in Filton, an aircraft parts manufacturing site.
Full training provided to become a Fluidcare Cleaner, you will be an expert in the shop floor support tasks required at the GKN Aerospace plant to ensure that Quaker Houghton is providing a quality service. This person is a key team player in ensuring we continue to exceed customer expectations.

Tasks
What will you do ?
Cleaning & support activities at the GKN Aerospace site to ensure the shop floor areas allow an optimal manufacturing process by maintaining high cleanliness standards where our metal-working lubricants, greases, coolants, cleaners and other Quaker Houghton industrial products operate.
Such as:
- Keep the assigned walkways and surfaces free from any debris and fluids, thus contributing to safety and performance.
- Ensure that the equipment is in optimal condition by keeping daily cleaning tasks up to date. i.e. Cleaning machine sumps when required.
- To assist you, mechanical cleaning equipment will be used on occasions.
- Follow all quality, safety & environmental standards & policies.
- Maintain constant communication with the GKN Aerospace team in coordination with the rest of the Quaker Houghton Fluidcare colleagues.
Requirements
What are we looking for?
FULL TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED.
- Valid driving license is a must.
- Good English skills.
- Schedule: Day shift.
- Location: Filton, Bristol area.
- Soft skills: high safety consciousness, proactive, team player.
