Procurement Administrator

What will you do?

The Procurement Administrator is responsible for purchase order management activities relating to Indirect, Direct (incl. T2) items. This includes obtaining quotes from suppliers for new and existing items, obtaining relevant EHS and Reach information from suppliers and forwarding to Product Stewardship for evaluation, timely release and follow up of direct orders (incl. T2).

  • Convert Order Requisitions (OR) to Purchase Orders (OP) - stock depletion
  • Print OPs in JDE and e-mail to supplier
  • Print O2 Purchase Orders and e-mail to suppliers - non stock depletion
  • Review (price, date & quantity)- forward required any price queries to specialist
  • Track & chase up missing confirmations
  • Update order confirmations status in JDE system
  • Obtain price quotes at request of Commercial Team with support of the specialist
  • Send out and chase responses for Requests for REACh information from suppliers
  • Routine maintenance of Purchase Price Catalogue (min monthly updates by exception)
  • Respond to supplier queries & follow up
  • Follow up and respond to Customer Service queries
  • Validate, release and follow up of Indirect Purchase orders
  • Category management / price negotiation selected low-medium indirect categories.
  • Ensure compliance to local and regional policies/guidelines

What do we look for?

  • Germany : “mittlere Reife” must include Maths and English
  • Minimum - A Levels / Germany : “Fachoberschulreife mit Qualification”
  • Full Apprenticeship with certificate (commercial)
  • Languages : German (fluently) & English
  • Previous administrator experience
  • Procurement or Export experience preferred
