Under supervision of the RMC Team Lead, the Chemist will autonomously develop essential knowledge on the raw materials QH uses in its processes; investigate the utilization of raw materials in newly developed and existing products.
The position gives the applicant an excellent opportunity to get access to- and familiarize themselves with all laboratories and all levels of our technology group. For this reason it can be seen as a solid stepping stone to start a career in our industry for an entry level chemist.
Autonomously perform array testing of alternative raw materials in existing QH products in accordance to company; customer or industry procedures
Prepare proposals for alternative raw materials or alternative formulations for critical raw materials.
Advice the Buyers on alternative raw materials and/or suppliers based on findings of test results
Share knowledge and advice Buyers on raw material chemistry, in order to prepare the Buyers to achieve optimal negotiation results
Investigate or collaborate on backward integration projects and execute synthesis in close coordination with the Team Leader RMC

Driver’s license is preferred; regular travel from Dortmund to Uithoorn will be required
