Working within the Enterprise Business Systems (EBS) group of Global IT and in a Global Support team, you will provide expert level support for the JD Edwards Enterprise One application within the EMEA region, supporting other key business applications and interfaces to JD Edwards at a global level as well. 

As the Senior Analyst EBS  you are the regional support lead for the EMEA territory, an essential element for us to maintain a best in class operational level by proposing solutions and identifying opportunities for efficiency and process improvement by supporting JDE implementation, rollout, integration, upgrade and other key projects.

What will you do? 

  • As a senior position and SME in the support team, work on complex support issues that require. strong JDE and business process knowledge/experience across multiple process and functional areas. 
  • Work directly with EMEA management and process leaders as the primary regional support contact. 
  • Manage and triage the priorities of regional service desk requests (Cherwell) ensuring tickets are prioritized, assigned and addressed correctly and timely to meet the needs of the business. 
  • Work with regional IT management on prioritization and staffing. 
  • Works directly with regional users on problem identification resolution and testing. 
  • Work with third party support team, on delegation and escalation of support issues. 
  • Deputizes for Manager, Enterprise Business Systems (Global Support) when absent. 
  • Provides support for JD Edwards and related interfaces, including but not limited to : DSI (bar coding), Transform, Slim4 and local fiscal interfaces. 
  • Ensures business processes are being followed correctly and suggest improvements to business processes where applicable. 
  • Responsible for necessary system configuration changes and for some system data maintenance (e.g. UDC codes additions and application level data). 
  • Assesses any educational needs of local users and escalates to regional process leads to maintain the competence of all colleagues. 
  • Monitors the data integrity of the systems and helps to resolve data disputes or conflicts. 

Other Responsibilities 

  • Participation in regional and global projects as required. 
  • Assists Global Support Manager with gathering monthly support statistics for QH management. 
  • Ensures all Sarbanes Oxley controls are followed, and documentation effectively stored. 
  • Oversee 3rd party or independent consultants as needed. 

 

What do we look for? 

Experience: The ideal candidate will have 7+ years JDE functional experience across multiple business and functional areas is essential with at least having spent 3 years working with JDE Enterprise One configuration, preferably in the B2B / industrial sector. A senior professional that can demonstrate expertise in business process, an excellent communication skill set and enough knowledge to generate trust and influence positively the organization.  

Expertise in the manufacturing and distribution areas of JDE is highly valued. 

Working knowledge of any of the following: DSI’s DCLink Bar-coding system, Bottomline Technologies Transform, Vertex, European localizations and/or EDI products would be a plus. 

Education: BA/BS degree in Management Information Systems or equivalent. 

Languages: English high level is a must. Any additional European language is valued.  

Based in any country within the EU.
