What will you do?

  • The primary responsibility is to lead, develop and manage internal and external suppliers for the Turkish Supply Chain while ensuring proper administration. Ensuring all suppliers are delivering the agreed business needs, including managing EHS standards and measuring KPIs.
  • In addition to the specific duties for Turkey, this role works with the EMEA Supply Chain and the Supply Chain Project Manager in respect of external supply chain spending on warehousing, logistics and contract manufacturing while investigating future scenarios for optimization.
  • Build and develop relationships & agreements with Turkish Supply Chain Suppliers that deliver continuous improvements, innovation and value creating opportunities
  • Ensure all transactions for goods into and out of the Turkish warehouse are completed in a timely manner to support customer invoicing – all discrepancies and complaints being investigated, corrected and where possible process improvement put in place to remove root cause.
  • Ensure all required documents for Turkish warehouse, tax/ customs and freight carriers are available on time in full to support deliveries of goods to customers
  • Ensure that all supply chain processes that support the Turkey Supply Chain are SOX compliant and meet the requirements of internal and external business controls - working closely with Finance and relevant stakeholders.
  • Lead the analytical requirements of the EMEA Supply Chain that support the identification and management of business improvements and cost savings – working with colleagues across EMEA to ensure maximum optimization.
  • Support the EMEA Supply Chain Manager in the control and reporting of EMEA external supply chain spend on warehousing, logistics.
  • Systems: Optimize process in the current system (D365 Dynamics/Navision) while considering JDE roll out long term. Post JDE roll out, working with external warehouse supplier, implement systems, processes and procedures to minimize the resources used for inbound and outbound administration in JDE for Turkey.


What are we looking for?

  • Experience: Ideally 5 years experience in a similar role, ideally within a manufacturing environment.

Any additional training needed, will be provided upon onboarding.

  • Languages: English & Turkish professional level spoken and written is a must.
  • Soft skills: Team player, High Communication skills, Attention to detail, Growth Mindset and High Safety conscious. Safety is at the core of our culture.
  • Based in the Istanbul area.
