This role includes hands-on fieldwork, documentation management, use of EHS digital platforms, and exposure to core EHS processes in an industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities – JTRA
• Support identification of critical job tasks and associated hazards.
• Participate in field observations to identify hazards and controls.
• Assist in development, review, and standardization of JTRAs.
• Track corrective actions from JTRA reviews.
Key Responsibilities – LOTO
• Assist with equipment surveys to identify hazardous energy sources.
• Support creation and updates of equipment-specific LOTO procedures.
• Assist with LOTO audits and compliance walkthroughs.
EHS Manager Support
• Support the EHS Manager in tracking work permits and employee training.
• Learn to use DSS for training creation and tracking.
• Learn to use DevonWay for corrective action tracking and incident investigations.
• Support incident investigations and action follow-up.
General EHS Support
• Participate in safety inspections and walkthroughs.
• Support data entry, trend analysis, and reporting.
• Maintain organized EHS documentation.
Required Qualifications
• Currently enrolled in Engineering, Environmental Science, Safety, or related field.
• Strong interest in EHS and industrial safety.
Required Skills
• Document management and record control.
• Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong organization, communication, and multitasking skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Basic knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• Familiarity with JTRA and LOTO concepts.
• Ability to travel between two facilities.
