As the EMEA Logistics Manager, based in our regional headquarters in Uithoorn, you will focus on developing and managing logistics service providers and lead the regional warehouse teams to continue to do great things together. What will you do?

 

  • Lead, develop, coordinate, and support logistics activities for the EMEA region, optimizing the process and driving cost improvements while guaranteeing high standards.
  • Manage 3rd party warehouses and related Supply Chain teams through KPIs and management processes while also controlling stock quality at these external warehouses.
  • Support manufacturing sites for overflow/off-site warehouse selection and management
  • Manage performance of logistics partners partially directly, partially through other parts of the Supply Chain organization
  • Work with indirect Procurement on securing competitive freight and warehouse cost.
  • Manage costs, reporting and the logistics budget.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders such as Procurement, Sales, Customer Service or Finance and other departments to ensure alignment to company goals.
  • Ensure compliance to local regulatory frameworks and SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment) standards
  • Available to travel up to 25% mainly within the region.

 

What are we looking for?

 

  • Experience: At least 5 years' experience in managing logistics service providers and flows, ideally in a role where team leadership and development of the logistics area have been key to success.

Any additional training needed will be provided.

  • Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business or Logistics
  • Languages: English professional level spoken and written is necessary.
  • Soft skills: Customer focus, Team-player, Strong Communication skills, Data-Driven, Proactive and High Safety conscious. Safety is at the core of our culture.
  • Location: Based in the Uithoorn, NL area with the availability to travel up to 25% in the region.
