Position Summary:
Reporting to the Director Corporate FP&A, this role will be responsible for supporting financial planning activities such as budget and forecasting, expense analysis, as well as report consolidation as needed. They will work closely with Regional and Corporate Controllers, as well as Business leaders to help develop and maintain financial reporting and analysis. Through reporting and analysis of financial results, this position will help ensure spend is prioritized within strategic priorities, enables business leaders to be agile in how they fund necessary investments, and ensures enterprise-wide clarity on financial results and budgets.

Bachelor’s degree (BS) in accounting, finance
2+ years of work experience including financial analysis, preferably in serving key business leaders. Experience in manufacturing or chemicals industry a plus
Strong work ethic with a positive, proactive and ‘can-do’ attitude: Highly motivated self-starter, that accepts accountability for assigned tasks, adapts well to changing customer needs/business demands, and consistently meets goals with high degree of accuracy, quality, and attention to detail.

Proven intellectual curiosity and ability to develop creative solutions/approaches to problems requiring a deep understanding of the business, the organization and related processes..
Business Partnering & Influencing Skills: Be a trusted advisor to the VP; proactively collaborate, influence, and align team’s contributions to drive initiatives that benefit the organizations’ overall results. Independent thinker with demonstrated success building strong, trusted, working relationships with internal stakeholders. Ability and awareness to negotiate or push back when needed.
Communication & Organization Skills: Ability to articulate analyses - presenting complex materials succinctly across all levels to drive effective decision making. Demonstrated active listening skills. Organized, self-starter with flexibility and willingness to balance multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
Team Skills: Team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible, with demonstrated ability to articulate and drive a team towards designed outcomes
Systems skills: - Word processing, Spreadsheets, Accounting software, General Ledger, Internet software, E-mail, Database software – Various ERP, Business Intelligence and Business Analytics Software
