Summary:
Reporting to the Senior Director of Data, Analytics, and Integrations (DAI), this newly created role is ideal for a hands-on leader passionate about driving data-driven decision-making across the enterprise. This individual will lead a small dynamic team focused on business intelligence and enterprise data analytics to delivering platforms and solutions that enable Quaker Houghton colleagues to derive insights for effective business decisions and improved operational and financial outcomes.
Key responsibilities include partnering with other areas of Digital Information Technology (DIT) aligned with business functions to shape the data and analytics offerings, building robust reporting solutions, ensuring data quality and BI governance, leading the creation of an enterprise-wide data driven culture. This role will oversee the operational and project related activities related to BI and Advanced Analytics, ensuring alignment to DIT’s operating processes and compliance expectations. As a coach and mentor this individual will develop team capabilities while championing the value and realization of business intelligence and analytics solutions across our global organization.
Additionally, this role leads the development of advanced analytic capabilities, including AI, Machine Learning, and Predictive Modeling to support the organization’s continuous improvement and inform critical strategic decisions.
The Manager Business Intelligence & Advanced Analytics must bring a strong data engineering background and mindset to data and analytical methods, to build data solutions that are highly scalable, flexible, innovative, and unique to Quaker Houghton’s transformation and digital goals.
