The Mechanical Design Engineer is based at our QHE head office in Coventry. You will design for the global automobile & aircraft sectors, offering best-in-class automated metal surface treatment process lines. A key contributor to the team effort to continue to exceed customer expectations.

What will you do?
- Produce detailed engineering designs and solutions as required in 2D CAD or 3D Inventor ensuring alignment with all stakeholders, focusing on customer specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Work closely with project management, electrical/software engineering, purchasing, production, sales & R&D in order to achieve a successful project execution.
- Maintain drawings, technical file structures and systems in accordance with required quality standards.
What do we look for?
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years as a Mechanical Design Engineer or any similar role where mechanical design knowledge and teamwork are key to success. Ideally in an automation, machinery or tool manufacturing environment.
- IT skills: AUTODESK VAULT / INVENTOR is valued, not a must.
- Language: English professional level is required.
- Location: Based in the Coventry area.
