What will you do ?
You will support the day to day Procurement activities including placement, confirmation and follow up on all purchase orders for assigned manufacturing locations. The following are the main tasks:
- Administer full Source to Pay cycle ensuring purchase orders are processed correctly and efficiently
- Manages day-to-day interactions with suppliers, maintaining effective relationships with suppliers & service providers
- Runs and maintains a daily open order report for responsible locations
- Escalates supplier response to Strategic Buyers if price, quantity, requested delivery date or other required PO conditions cannot be met
- Ensure proper order/transactional execution, data entry and follow-up reporting are completed. Ensure invoices clear the system matching requirements and reconcile when needed.
- Records non-conformances in the SPR system for service issues involving raw materials.
- Supports & works to minimize the cost of transactions to optimize use of appropriate automation tools, increasing productivity & create efficient processes.
- For Data Management Support you will be responsible for the overview, implementation, timeline enforcement and maintenance of all data needed by the ERP system including the product introduction process, item setups and all requested updates.
- Upholds internal & external policies, regulations and laws.
What are we looking for?
Experience
2 years of general industry experience (chemicals, petrochemicals, etc.) including experience in procurement or comparable valuable experience from other areas (marketing, sales, etc.)
Required Skills and Competencies
- Capable of managing a variety of local supplier relationships
- Managing multiple priorities & tasks; Strong time management capabilities
- Proven to work under deadlines and deliver successful outcomes.
Languages
English and German professional level language skills are a must.
