As the Product Application Manager Non-Ferrous, you are joining a European team of senior experts in the Metals sector. You lead the interaction with key customers, translating their needs into innovative product solutions in coordination with the R&D, sales and marketing team.

What will you do?
Responsible in the European region for product application support to the frontline sales force in the Metals sector
Identify and understand customer needs, translating the objective to the appropriate function in the company
Select appropriate products from the portfolio in accordance with business needs and product line strategy
Propose product modifications within agreed criteria in applicable cases, in order to fulfill customer specific needs or requirements
Co-ordinate with other functions to determine and establish technical feasibility and product cost as input for the final offer.
Hold presentations to customers on technical/product related subjects in co-operation with sales/key account manager.
Manage the process of product development between customer and laboratory.
Develop and implement strategic business plans that will generate growth, increase market share and achieve company sales and gross margin targets
Maintain highest EHS standards.
Travel 50%, mainly within Germany and surrounding countries.
What do we look for?
Education: Ideally an educational background in Chemistry, Engineering or any related subject.
Experience: 5+ years in a similar role in the lubricants sector or ideally experience as a senior engineer in the process, manufacturing or maintenance department within the non-ferrous metal sector. Aluminium production techniques knowledge is highly valued.
Languages: Fluent English is a must. German or other European languages are highly valued.
Location: Ideally in Germany or surrounding countries for an ideal work-life balance.
