About The Job

As Senior Account Manager you will oversee our key accounts in the Eastern Central Germany territory. You will manage some of our major automotive accounts, develop new business by driving cross-selling and customer satisfaction initiatives in this sector and others. A key role to move forward with our strategic growth plan.

 

What will you do?

  • Nurture current accounts to achieve customer satisfaction and develop new business growth to meet sales goals.
  • Create strong relationships with key customer contacts across all levels, focusing on cross-selling for existing accounts.
  • Deliver sound technical advice to the customer, working closely with our Product Application team to implement and offer new solutions.
  • Communicate directly with the KAM team for alignment with the account strategy to achieve maximum business potential and aim to exceed customer expectations.
  • Collaborate with the QH Fluid Intelligence Solutions team regarding our range of equipment sales.
  • Coordinate with the Customer Service and Technical Service teams to ensure we meet customer expectations.
  • Regularly report to management to analyze sales targets, budgets and forecast. Mainly using CRM, excel and other IT Tools available.
  • Attend and participate in conferences and industry trade shows.
  • Monitor the competitors' activities, industry trends & regional regulations to give feedback to management and KAM team that is useful for innovation and market development.
  • Travel up to 75% mainly within the assigned territory

 

What are we looking for?

The ideal candidate will have senior level experience in a similar key account management-oriented role. Preferably coming from lubricants, metal, metalworking or any related chemical or automotive metal part manufacturing sectors. We highly value CRM-based project-management experience. An ideal role for a passionate technical sales professional looking to join a dynamic sales team with an established leadership position in the market.

  • Education: Mechanical, Metallurgic, Chemical or relevant engineering degree is highly valued.
  • Languages: German and English at a professional level is a must.

This is a field based role in the Central Eastern German territory.
