As a Service Engineer you will be based at our QHE head office in Coventry and will work to support our clients, servicing and maintaining the equipment as part of service agreements. A key role to ensure we continue to exceed customer expectations.

What will you do?

  • Scheduled servicing of manual and automated plants at our client works including; cleaning, inspection and testing as per our standard procedures
  • Complete detailed survey of plant/machines at client sites, detailing faults and requirements for repairs
  • Maintenance and repair of manual and automated plant at our client works
  • Installations of manual and automated plant at our client works
  • System testing and commissioning
  • Generate detailed material list for service, maintenance and installation works
  • Completion of detailed service reports and job related documentation
  • Demonstrate a personal commitment to Quality, Health, Safety and the Environment.
  • Promote company and services during interaction with the client.

 

What are we looking for?

Education: Mechanical/Electrical qualified engineer, preference being electrically biased

Experience: At least 2 years in a similar role in the customer technical service area.

Technical skills:

  • Proficiency and experience in pneumatics, heating, cooling, control systems pumping systems, process valves, instrumentation, steam heating system etc.
  • Experience installing large capital equipment products
  • Demonstrated experience working with PLC’s, HMI and SCADA systems
  • Ability to read and interpret pneumatic, electrical, mechanical and P & ID drawings

 

Location: Coventry area reasonable commuting distance. Willingness to travel overseas when required.
