Accountabilities:
Capacity Management
Perform finite and rough-cut capacity planning to identify constraints and develop mitigation plans
Coordinate planned down days / maintenance windows with site scheduling teams to ensure resource availability
Track and report master schedule attainment; analyze variances and drive corrective actions
MRP Ownership & Supply Plan Integrity
Ensure all MRP elements: planned orders, purchase requisitions, inventory projections, and capacity signals are accurate, synchronized, and aligned with demand
Review MRP message as necessary with production facilities, execute appropriate actions to prevent shortages, expedite supply, or avoid excess inventory
Monitor material master data and own planning-related fields, including safety stock levels, lead times, lot sizes, replenishment methods, and other planning family
Maintain system configurations, time fences, and replenishment strategies in accordance with global processes and policies
Supply and Demand Balance & Scenario Analysis
Balance supply with demand at SKU and site levels while adhering to production constraints, inventory targets, and customer service requirements
Identify risks and opportunities in the supply plan, proposing alternatives such as overtime, inventory reallocation, line prioritization, or schedule adjustments
Provide supply input and data packages for S&OP and S&OE meetings, including risk summaries, capacity outlook, and long-term supply signals
Process Improvement & Analytics
Run, analyze, and act on stock-low/stock-high reports; initiate replenishment or demand shaping actions as needed
Lead or support cross-functional root cause analysis for service failures, driving corrective and preventive actions to completion
Communicate production plan changes, constraints, and priorities to internal stakeholders
Identify opportunities for process enhancements using analytics, planning tools, and technology (Power BI)
Establish and track KPIs to measure S&OP effectiveness and drive data-based decisions
Manage Planning Systems (Slimstock)
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Strong analytical capabilities with expertise in supply planning, inventory analysis, and data interpretation
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across all organizational levels
Project management experience leading cross functional initiatives
Deep understanding of supply chain processes, including demand planning, MRP, DRP, warehouse operations, and distribution
Demonstrated leadership skills to influence teams and drive operational alignment
Required Minimum Number of Years of Relevant Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience managing Supply Chain Management, Production scheduling, S&OP, or a related discipline
Education, Experience and Training:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or a related field - Master’s degree is a plus
Proven experience in S&OP execution
CPIM, CSCP, or equivalent professional certification is a plus
Experience with advanced planning tools (APS) and modern ERP systems (JDE is a plus)
Prior experience in a global, multi-site manufacturing environment
Demonstrated capability in continuous improvement, process optimization, or Lean/Six Sigma methodologies
